Madonna J. Arsenault, M.Div., CSD, Chaplain, CPSS, Rev.
Madonna J. Arsenault, M.Div., CSD, Chaplain, CPSS, Rev. is a strong, empathetic, compassionate, and calming presence who can provide spiritual and emotional care to persons and groups most vulnerable from diverse populations. She is exceptionally skilled in providing this care to assist persons and groups experiencing severe crisis, loss, trauma, and moral injury. She helps people heal, strengthening hope, resiliency, connection, and well-being.
Madonna was born and raised in Eastport, Maine, and has been a spiritual care provider in Maine as a chaplain in the hospital and for hospice. She is a chaplain and a member of the ministry team with Volunteers of America, Northern New England, and the Shay Moral Injury Center. She is a trainer and facilitator of their programs for Veterans, First, Responders, and the community.
Madonna received her Master of Divinity degree and certifications in Ethics and Social Justice, and in Spiritual and Pastoral Care at Andover Newton Theological School, now at Yale.
She is a Certified Spiritual Director and received her professional training with the Franciscan Spiritual Direction Center at St. Anthony Shrine in Boston. She received her Certification in Alcohol and Drug Counseling from Eastern Maine Community College.
Madonna is also a believer, clinical therapeutic musician, certified practitioner of the emotional-social arts, writer, herbalist of traditional medicine, and storyteller.
