About this course

Have you ever faced a tough decision at work and wondered what the right thing to do is? This course is designed to help Community Health Workers like you understand and apply ethical standards in your daily practice. Through practical examples, real-life scenarios, and supportive guidance, you’ll learn the purpose and importance of the Code of Ethics, explore each of its key articles, recognize ethical dilemmas, and discover resources to help you make confident, ethical decisions.

By the end of this course, you’ll be equipped with the knowledge and tools to navigate complex situations in alignment with the CHW Code of Ethics.

  • Recognize the purpose and importance of the CHW Code of Ethics
  • Describe each of the four articles of the CHW Code of Ethics and how it applies in practice to make informed decisions
  • Recognize ethical dilemmas in CHW practice
